Rubrik is hiring a Sales Engineer for the Public Sector to provide technical direction and business guidance to the sales team. You'll work with AWS and Azure to drive innovative technical programs and customer demonstrations. This role requires strong communication skills and experience in the public sector.
You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly within the public sector, and are adept at providing technical direction and business guidance to sales teams. Your experience includes working closely with account executives to uncover customer needs and position solutions effectively. You are personable and cloud-savvy, with expertise in AWS and Azure, enabling you to engage with customers and articulate complex technical concepts clearly. You thrive in collaborative environments and are driven to exceed sales quotas through innovative technical programs and customer demonstrations.
You understand the importance of building resilience against cyberattacks and operational disruptions, and you are passionate about protecting data. Your ability to conduct strong discovery sessions allows you to identify customer problems and tailor solutions that meet their unique needs. You are a self-starter who takes initiative and is committed to continuous professional development, leveraging resources to maximize your earning potential and career growth.
Experience in the public sector, particularly with Central & Local Government, NHS, and Education, is a plus. Familiarity with data resilience, observability, and remediation tools will enhance your ability to evangelize Rubrik’s offerings. You are comfortable with storytelling and can effectively communicate the value of technical solutions to diverse audiences.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal teams, ensuring that the sales team has the necessary resources to succeed. You will drive pipeline generation alongside account executives, conducting customer demonstrations and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. Your responsibilities will include architecting Rubrik’s Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools to a targeted list of new and existing customers throughout the UK Public Sector.
You will collaborate closely with account executives to uncover customer challenges and position Rubrik as the unique solution. Your role will involve conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and providing technical guidance throughout the sales process. You will also participate in continuous professional development through Rubrik’s world-class sales enablement program, enhancing your skills and knowledge in the field.
