Astronomer is hiring a Deal Desk Manager to build the Deal Desk function within Revenue Operations. You'll focus on deal structuring and pricing support for global sales teams. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in managing complex transactions.
You have a strong background in revenue operations, ideally with experience in deal desk management or a related field. You understand the intricacies of deal structuring and pricing, and you are adept at navigating complex contractual terms. Your analytical skills allow you to leverage data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities within sales processes. You are a strong communicator, capable of guiding sales teams through various deal structures and ensuring compliance with company goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth. You are detail-oriented and possess a keen ability to manage risks associated with non-standard terms in contracts.
Experience with Dealhub or similar deal management tools is a plus. Familiarity with sales territories and the ability to analyze sales data for strategic decision-making will set you apart. A background in a tech or SaaS company is advantageous, as it provides context for the fast-paced nature of the industry.
As the Deal Desk Manager, you will serve as the central contact for all deal stakeholders, overseeing internal workflows to ensure deals are closed efficiently and in a timely manner. You will guide sales teams on the pros and cons of various deal structures, helping them navigate complex transactions while managing risk within contractual terms. Your role will involve reviewing and vetting complex deals, ensuring they align with company revenue guidance and compliance standards. You will also be responsible for building and scaling the Deal Desk function, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance the deal process. Collaboration with sales, finance, and legal teams will be essential as you work to streamline operations and support the evolving needs of the business.
