You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — you understand the intricacies of maintaining mission-critical technology infrastructure. Your hands-on experience in troubleshooting and operating equipment ensures that you can effectively contribute to maintaining a 99.999% uptime. You thrive in environments where attention to detail is paramount, and you are comfortable working with complex systems such as diesel generators, UPSs, and three-phase electrical systems. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working as part of a diverse team, collaborating with engineers and specialists to keep operations running smoothly.
Experience with AWS infrastructure services is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations and maintenance protocols. You have a keen interest in technology and are eager to learn about the latest advancements in data center management. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders will help you navigate the challenges of maintaining critical systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within the data center — from electrical systems like switch gear and PDUs to mechanical systems such as cooling towers and centrifugal chillers. You will conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates efficiently. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing issues and implementing solutions quickly to minimize downtime. You will also collaborate with other technicians and engineers to support the overall operation of the data center, contributing to the design and planning of infrastructure improvements.
