What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Clear Street, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance trading systems — your work will directly impact how our clients interact with markets and execute trades. You will enhance existing trading strategies and develop new tools that support our algorithmic trading efforts, ensuring that our platform remains at the forefront of technology in the financial sector.

You will collaborate closely with the Algorithm / Research team, working alongside traders and sales professionals to discover new opportunities for improving client order flow and execution performance. Your insights and technical expertise will influence future design decisions, shaping the evolution of our platform as we expand our client base.

You will be responsible for testing and deploying new strategies and algorithms, ensuring that they meet performance benchmarks and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve acquiring a deep understanding of our systems, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall technical direction of the team, mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
