Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong technical background and are eager to become an expert in Apache Airflow — your experience allows you to understand complex data operations and provide high-level support to customers. You possess familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL, which enables you to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows effectively. Your knowledge extends to data engineering tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, and dbt, allowing you to assist customers in leveraging these technologies for their data needs.

You thrive in a customer-facing role where empathy and technical expertise intersect — you understand that each customer has unique challenges and you are committed to helping them succeed. You enjoy learning new technologies and are proactive in seeking out knowledge that will enhance your ability to support clients. Your communication skills are strong, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and data orchestration tools is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to provide comprehensive support. Familiarity with best practices in data engineering and a passion for continuous learning will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

Your daily tasks will include responding to support tickets, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions that enhance the reliability of our services. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to documentation and training materials that help customers maximize their use of Airflow.

In addition to direct customer support, you will participate in internal projects aimed at improving our managed Airflow service. This may involve working on feature enhancements, performance tuning, and collaborating with product teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into our development processes. You will be encouraged to share your insights and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
