Role Purpose:
The Senior Java Engineering role is a multi-faceted role. You will work within a full-stack team across all of the business services of our core platform while playing an active role in developing new services that deliver successful business outcomes. Develop supporting API’s across all consumer-facing applications for your frontend peers. Be a key contributor in building out our supply network by developing externally facing 3rd party API connectors for onboarding new supply content into the platform. Manage integrations into airline- specific API suites for Single Sign On, redemption of air miles etc.
The Senior Java Engineer is expected to demonstrate a high degree of initiative in terms of design and implementation decisions, while collaborating with Architects and fellow Senior Engineers to review and ensure best practices are implemented – particularly in respect of new and novel technology initiatives. You will also be expected to provide mentoring and direction to Junior and Mid-Level engineers, contributing to code reviews and design reviews with the goal of ensuring quality and maintainability of the overall codebase.
