Vanta is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to own Engineering hiring across a global scope. You'll partner with senior stakeholders and shape hiring strategies to attract top-tier technical talent. This role requires strong recruitment experience and strategic thinking.

You have extensive experience in technical recruitment, ideally with a focus on engineering roles. You understand the nuances of hiring in a competitive market and can effectively engage with top talent across various channels. Your ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders is key, as you will act as a trusted advisor in shaping hiring strategies and priorities. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform your decisions and improve recruitment processes. You are passionate about providing an excellent candidate experience from the initial contact through to their first day at the company. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with engineering leadership to set high standards for technical hiring.

Desirable

Experience in security or compliance-related fields is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with various assessment techniques and candidate evaluation methods will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning about new technologies and trends in the industry, which will help you attract the best talent.

What you'll do

As the Lead Technical Recruiter at Vanta, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process for engineering roles, from sourcing candidates to closing offers. You will identify and engage top talent through various channels, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool. Your role will involve extending offers and successfully negotiating terms to close hires, all while providing candidates with an exceptional experience. You will collaborate closely with senior engineering and executive leaders to influence hiring strategies and align recruitment efforts with business outcomes. Setting and upholding a high bar for technical hiring will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as you design and calibrate candidate assessments in partnership with engineering leadership. You will track and analyze recruitment metrics to drive decisions and improve funnel health, ensuring that Vanta continues to attract and retain top-tier talent.
