Onsite Medical Representative

Who you are

You have experience in a medical support role, ideally within a workplace setting, where you've provided first aid and health guidance to employees. You understand the importance of workplace safety and are committed to advocating for health and wellness principles. You are comfortable interacting with employees on a daily basis and can assess and manage both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. You are familiar with OSHA regulations and have a proactive approach to health and safety management. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working as part of a larger team to support safety operations.

What you'll do

As an Onsite Medical Representative at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of associates at your site. You will independently assess and administer first aid as needed, providing immediate care for injuries and illnesses. You will participate in weekly safety committee meetings, contributing to discussions on health and safety initiatives. Your role will involve greeting new hires and providing them with essential health and safety information. You will also engage in case management review meetings, collaborating with the WHS Site Manager and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for associates. You will refer employees to outside medical providers when necessary, ensuring they receive the appropriate care. Your commitment to learning and advocating for health and wellness will be key in supporting associates daily.
