Lead Software Engineer - Back End (Gurugram based)

Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, building scalable production systems that handle high traffic and complex business logic. You understand the intricacies of designing and deploying services that are resilient and efficient, and you have a track record of debugging and optimizing distributed systems.

Your expertise lies in modern programming languages, particularly Scala and Go, which you have used to develop high-performance APIs. You are familiar with the principles of service architecture and have strong opinions on best practices for dependency management and testing strategies.

You are well-versed in data technologies, including Kafka, and understand how to implement data pipelines that support real-time processing and analytics. Your experience with CI/CD practices ensures that you can deliver updates and new features with minimal downtime, maintaining the reliability of mission-critical systems.

You thrive in agile environments and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to deliver seamless user experiences. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions that enhance system performance and user satisfaction.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture would be a plus, as would familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
