Who you are

You are an experienced Automation Lead with a strong technical background in automation frameworks and quality assurance. You have expertise in Cypress, Selenium, and Playwright, and are well-versed in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. Your analytical and problem-solving mindset allows you to identify issues early and coordinate effectively with engineering and QA teams. You are passionate about driving improvements in automation health metrics and reducing execution time.

Desirable

Experience with GitHub Actions for build and test automation is a plus. Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman and Bruno will enhance your ability to oversee automation quality across various product lines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and maintain automation efforts across multiple product lines, ensuring that automation frameworks are robust, reliable, and scalable. You will collaborate closely with the IDC automation team in India to ensure seamless workflows and shared goals. Monitoring automation results and identifying regressions early will be key responsibilities, as you coordinate with engineering and QA teams to resolve issues promptly.

You will participate in production incident triage from a QA standpoint, leading automation-related root cause analysis and ensuring follow-up actions are taken. Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing, designing, and optimizing automation frameworks using C# and Playwright, ensuring they are maintainable and efficient. You will drive test data management and environment readiness to support automated testing, tracking automation health metrics and proactively identifying process improvements.

Mentoring and guiding offshore automation engineers will be a significant part of your role, providing technical oversight and ensuring alignment with the overall QA strategy. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of quality and collaboration within the team, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation in automation practices.

What we offer

ESO offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on automation quality across our product lines. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of robust automation frameworks. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Join us in our mission to enhance the quality and reliability of our products through effective automation practices. We provide competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
