GitLab is seeking a Public Sector Strategic Account Executive to engage with prospects and customers in the US Intelligence Community. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to drive customer relationships in a remote setting.
You have experience in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working in the Intelligence Community. You are adept at building relationships and can effectively communicate the value of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps Platform to various stakeholders. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable with frequent onsite meetings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. You are a proactive problem solver who can navigate complex sales cycles and understand the importance of collaboration across teams.
Experience with software sales, particularly in the areas of DevSecOps or AI technologies, is a plus. Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community and its operational needs will help you succeed in this role. You are comfortable using CRM tools and have a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for GitLab within the US Intelligence Community. You will engage with prospects and customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how GitLab's solutions can address their challenges. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and marketing strategies. You will be responsible for managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth transition for customers as they adopt GitLab's platform. You will also participate in industry events and conferences to represent GitLab and expand your network within the public sector.
