SpaceX is seeking a Ground Network Specialist for the Starlink project to deploy and troubleshoot ground hardware. You'll work with fiber optics and network hardware in a remote capacity.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of experience in a technical role, ideally involving troubleshooting and repair of network hardware. You are curious and enjoy cross-disciplinary problem solving, thriving in a fast-paced environment where you can learn and grow. Your experience includes working with fiber optic circuits and commercial network systems, allowing you to diagnose and resolve complex issues effectively. You are also skilled in creating and improving training documentation to enhance team capabilities.
As a Ground Network Specialist at SpaceX, you will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and repairing Starlink ground hardware. This role requires you to travel both internationally and domestically to resolve hardware issues that affect Starlink user service. You will diagnose failures within fiber optic circuits and execute repairs to restore systems to full operation. Additionally, you will investigate and resolve issues with onsite commercial network and routing hardware, ensuring optimal performance of the Starlink gateways. Your contributions will directly impact the availability of the Starlink network, making you a key player in enhancing global connectivity.
