Body Shop Apprentice

Who you are

You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to learn and grow in the automotive repair field. As an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician, you are ready to take on responsibilities such as prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and can adapt to the business's needs, including working mandatory overtime when required. You possess a valid driver’s license and can read, write, speak, and understand English.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint, ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared for a high-quality finish. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of Carvana's high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall quality of the vehicles we deliver to our customers. You will receive training programs designed to enhance your skills and ensure your pay progresses alongside the company. Your role will involve collaborating with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet customer expectations.
