As an Engineering Operations Technician, you are a critical guardian of technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations that power global digital experiences. You have hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting, and you are familiar with maintaining and operating mission-critical facilities. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining an extraordinary 99.999% uptime, keeping the digital world running smoothly and efficiently.

You possess a solid understanding of three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and wet cell batteries. You are also knowledgeable about cooling systems such as CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, and cooling towers. Your background in electrical and mechanical engineering equips you to handle the complexities of data center operations effectively.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers. You are eager to tackle challenging problems and contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS infrastructure services. Desirable

Experience with diesel generators and related fuel systems is a plus. Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure will enhance your ability to support the team effectively. What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot AWS Data Center Operations' mission-critical facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of electrical and mechanical systems, performing routine inspections, and addressing any issues that arise. Your hands-on approach will be essential in keeping the infrastructure running smoothly.

You will collaborate with your team to implement best practices for equipment maintenance and operational efficiency. This includes documenting procedures, participating in training sessions, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
