Codat is seeking a Staff/Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of user-friendly applications that enhance data-driven relationships for banks. You'll work with JavaScript and React, and your role will involve mentoring and shaping technical direction. This position requires extensive experience in frontend systems.
You are a highly experienced Frontend Engineer with a deep specialization in frontend systems — your expertise allows you to be a technical leader and mentor, significantly contributing to the product vision and technical direction. You have a strong understanding of full-stack systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance across the technology stack. You are passionate about fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement, and you thrive in environments where you can share your knowledge and guide others.
You have a solid background in JavaScript and React, and you are familiar with testing frameworks such as React Testing Library and Cypress — your awareness of security best practices ensures that the applications you develop are robust and secure. A degree in Computer Science or a similar field is preferred, as it complements your hands-on experience in the industry. You are open to hybrid or remote applications from within the UK, making you adaptable to various working environments.
Experience with additional frontend frameworks or libraries would be a plus, as well as familiarity with backend technologies to enhance your full-stack understanding. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the overall success of the team.
