Amazon is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain and optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. You'll ensure safety regulations are adhered to and provide high levels of equipment availability. This role requires hands-on experience with Material Handling Equipment and a focus on continuous improvement.
You have a strong background in reliability maintenance engineering, with a focus on ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to. You are motivated and customer-focused, eager to join a team that values high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement. Your hands-on experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) makes you a subject matter expert, and you are comfortable coaching and mentoring technicians on shift. You understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and are skilled in troubleshooting and prioritizing tasks to support internal customers effectively.
You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can role model health and safety best practices. You have experience managing contractors and supervising shifts in the absence of a line manager. Your ability to develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels of the organization is a key strength, enabling you to foster collaboration and drive improvements in systems across the EU network.
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse or delivery network environment is a plus. Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart. You are adaptable and willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns, including nights and weekends, to meet the demands of the role.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that preventative maintenance is conducted on time and to a high standard. You will work hands-on with MHE, demonstrating your expertise and providing guidance to technicians. Your focus will be on maintaining high levels of equipment availability, which is crucial for the smooth operation of the Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise, prioritizing tasks to minimize downtime and ensure that internal customers receive the support they need.
You will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with your team to identify areas for enhancement and implement standard practices across the network. Your leadership skills will be essential as you coach and mentor technicians, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge. You will also support the line manager in supervising the shift, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
