Guidepoint is seeking a Director of Equity Research to maximize the commercialization of their Insights product in Greater China and the APAC region. You'll work closely with firm leadership on sales strategy and client engagement. This role requires extensive knowledge of primary research and expert intelligence in financial services.
You have a strong background in equity research and a deep understanding of how primary research influences investment decisions — your experience in the financial services sector has equipped you with the insights needed to guide institutional clients effectively. You are skilled in developing sales strategies and managing client relationships, ensuring that the Insights product meets the diverse needs of clients across Greater China and the APAC region. Your leadership experience allows you to collaborate effectively with global teams, driving initiatives that enhance the quality and relevance of research content. You are committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive environment, recognizing the value of diverse perspectives in achieving business success.
Experience in managing subscription-based products or services would be advantageous, as would familiarity with teleconferences and expert intelligence offerings. A network of contacts within the investment community can help you leverage insights and enhance the product's value proposition. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking ways to improve the coverage and quality of research provided to clients.
In this role, you will work closely with global Directors of Research to identify and execute content strategies tailored for clients in Greater China and the APAC region. You will maintain communication with clients to gather feedback on coverage and content needs, ensuring that the Insights product evolves to meet market demands. Your responsibilities will include directing a team to analyze market trends and research approaches, enhancing the product's effectiveness and relevance. You will report to global leadership, providing updates on coverage universes and addressing any gaps in research offerings. Your role will also involve collaborating with industry experts to conceptualize and host teleconferences and events that provide valuable insights to clients.
