CI&T is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work on a challenging project for one of Brazil's largest digital banks. You'll leverage your expertise in Java, Kotlin, and AWS to manage the entire software development lifecycle. This role requires strong knowledge of microservices architecture and agile practices.
You have over 5 years of experience in backend development, particularly with Java and Kotlin, and you are well-versed in object-oriented programming principles. Your expertise includes working with microservices architecture, ensuring that you can design scalable and maintainable systems. You are familiar with software development best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Clean Code principles, which you apply to your daily work. You have experience with agile methodologies, including SCRUM and KANBAN, allowing you to thrive in collaborative environments. Your technical skills extend to SQL databases, and you are comfortable using protocols like HTTP/HTTPS. You are proficient in version control systems, particularly Git and Git Flow, which you use to manage code effectively. You possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle technical issues and bugs efficiently.
Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as Spring Boot or Javalin is a plus, as is experience with messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, and SNS. You have a good understanding of NoSQL databases and have worked with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with data streaming solutions and event-driven architectures will set you apart. Knowledge of API management platforms like ApiGee and server-side management with Node.js is also beneficial.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from the conception of new features to their deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you develop meet the needs of one of Brazil's largest digital banks. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing high-quality code, conducting unit tests, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise, ensuring that the systems remain robust and reliable. You will follow the client's defined policies and processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be key to your success in this position.
