Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience managing vendor teams and working with customers. Your background includes supervising and managing third-party logistics relationships, as well as managing warehousing and supply chain operations. You possess strong analytical skills, having spent 5 years analyzing data to generate business insights that guide decision-making. Your experience in operations is complemented by an understanding of customer needs and the ability to identify trends through data.

You are familiar with certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, or COPC, and you have a preference for candidates with an MBA or Master's degree. Your knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence Platforms (BIP) allows you to effectively work with data to develop solutions that meet customer needs. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s resolved for all stakeholders involved.

What you'll do

As a Quality Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve analyzing and redesigning quality workflows, using a data-driven approach to influence the development of tools and automation for long-term efficiency.

You will manage the cost of quality and utilize data to drive decisions that enhance operational performance. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to keep all players updated on progress and deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring that quality standards are met and that the processes in place are efficient and effective.

What we offer

You will have the chance to work in a collaborative environment that values innovation and efficiency. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products. Join us in shaping the future of technology and making a meaningful impact in the world.
