You have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building scalable data pipelines and architectures. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to design robust solutions that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. You are proficient in Python and SQL, enabling you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively. You understand the importance of data quality and governance, ensuring that the data you work with is reliable and actionable. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are passionate about customer experience and are eager to contribute to a platform that enhances how organizations understand and engage with their customers.

Desirable

Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows is a plus. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices will help you excel in this role. Knowledge of additional cloud services and tools will be beneficial as you work on integrating various data sources into the Customer Data Platform.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and implement Five9's Customer Data Platform solutions, enabling production use cases that enhance customer experience. You will architect and develop highly scalable services for ingesting large-scale datasets from multiple sources, ensuring that the data is processed efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver solutions that support real-time decision-making. You will also be responsible for maintaining data quality and governance standards, ensuring that the platform provides a single source of truth for analytics and personalization. As a key member of the data engineering team, you will take ownership of the data pipelines and storage layers, continuously optimizing them for performance and reliability.
