Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes extensive experience in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are essential skills for this role. You are also familiar with roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your ability to train and mentor other autobody technicians showcases your leadership skills and commitment to team development. You understand the importance of delivering high-quality work and are dedicated to maintaining the standards of excellence at Carvana.
Experience with state-of-the-art tools and technology in automotive repair is a plus, as is a strong understanding of customer service principles. You are a team player who is willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer expectations. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles. This includes heavy plastic welding and stapling, as well as heavy metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking. You will also be tasked with roof and rocker panel repairs, ensuring that all work meets the high standards set by Carvana. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in training and mentoring other autobody technicians, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers. Your work will directly contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences by ensuring that vehicles are repaired to the highest quality before they reach our customers.
