You have 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building scalable web applications that enhance user experience. Your expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like Angular has allowed you to lead projects and mentor junior developers effectively. You understand the importance of clean code and best practices in frontend architecture, ensuring that your work is maintainable and efficient.
You are passionate about creating user-friendly interfaces that empower small businesses, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can share your knowledge and learn from others. Your experience with migration projects, particularly from AngularJS to modern frameworks, showcases your ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced tech landscape.
You believe in the mission of supporting local businesses and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company that prioritizes their success. Your strong communication skills enable you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Experience with additional frontend technologies such as React or Vue.js would be a plus, as well as familiarity with backend technologies to facilitate better collaboration with your peers. A background in payment systems or e-commerce platforms can also enhance your fit for this role.
As a Lead Frontend Engineer at Teya, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our web platform that empowers merchants in the retail industry. You will own and drive our frontend architecture vision across the organization, leading a critical migration from AngularJS to modern frameworks. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing user interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also functional and accessible.
You will collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements, ensuring that the final product meets both business goals and user expectations. Your role will involve mentoring junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
You will also be responsible for optimizing application performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility, which will enhance the overall user experience. Regularly reviewing code and conducting performance audits will be part of your routine, as you strive to maintain high standards in code quality and application efficiency.
