Carvana is seeking an Experienced Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and extensive repairs on multiple panels. You are skilled in roof and rocker panel repair and large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your experience allows you to train and mentor other autobody technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. You understand the importance of working efficiently and are willing to engage in mandatory overtime when necessary to meet business needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and work well with others makes you a valuable asset to the team.
As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive bodywork on various vehicles, ensuring high-quality repairs that meet industry standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the repair process. Your role will involve training and mentoring junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills.
You will be expected to handle heavy plastic welding and metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking, ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you work on roof and rocker panel repairs, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all repairs are completed in a timely manner, contributing to Carvana's mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
