Who you are

You have a degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline. You possess strong interpersonal skills and have experience working closely with design and engineering teams. Your background includes knowledge of advanced node wafer fabrication technologies and package assembly processes, which will be crucial in this role. You understand the importance of quality assurance and supply chain management in manufacturing environments, and you are committed to continuous improvement in manufacturing capabilities, quality, and yield.

Desirable

You have a solid understanding of advanced packaging technologies such as 2.5D and 3D integration, large copper pillar flip chip packages, and advanced thermal management solutions. Your experience in these areas will help you identify suitable suppliers and work effectively with contract manufacturers.

What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Manager at Graphcore, you will work closely with the Design and Test Engineering teams to support new product introduction (NPI) development and volume production. You will ensure that products are manufacturable by collaborating with design engineering and identifying suitable suppliers through effective supply chain management. Your role will involve providing day-to-day manufacturing support to relevant contract manufacturers, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in manufacturing capabilities, quality, and yield. This includes analyzing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and product quality. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that manufacturing processes align with product design and quality standards.

In addition, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes at wafer foundries, package assembly, and PCBA subcontractors. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of semiconductor manufacturing and ensuring that Graphcore's products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
