Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Quantum Product team to guide technical products from conception to launch. You'll work with Quantum Computing, Cloud Platforms, and High-Performance Computing. This role requires 8 years of experience in product management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, along with 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. You have a proven track record of taking technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to manage the full product life-cycle effectively. Your experience with quantum computing, cloud platforms, and high-performance computing sets you apart, as does your advanced degree in a quantum computing related field. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to work on products that impact millions of users.
Experience managing technical products or online services related to web services, online technology, and compute services is a plus. Familiarity with Quantum Physics, Engineering, or Technology will enhance your candidacy. You have developed business strategies in conjunction with executive leadership, showcasing your ability to align product goals with broader business objectives.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development. Your responsibilities will include managing the full product life-cycle, defining requirements for operational readiness, reliability, and serviceability to ensure successful adoption and long-term maintenance. You will act as a product subject matter expert, staying abreast of technical and business developments in the quantum computing and related quantum technology industries. You will collaborate closely with creative engineers and designers to ensure that the products meet user needs and business goals. Your role will involve pricing, positioning, and creating technical enablement materials to support product launches. You will also be responsible for conducting user research and gathering feedback to inform product iterations.
