Fivetran is seeking an Interim Global Head of Deal Desk to lead the evolution of their Deal Desk function in a high-growth SaaS environment. This role requires strategic leadership and collaboration with various teams to ensure efficient deal execution.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a highly experienced and strategic leader with a proven track record in scaling Deal Desk functions within a global, complex, high-growth SaaS environment. You excel at leading teams through change and have a deep understanding of the frameworks, processes, and governance necessary for effective deal execution. Your ability to navigate between long-term strategy and hands-on problem-solving makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You are comfortable collaborating with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Systems, and Partner Marketplace teams to drive alignment on deal structure and commercial policy.

You possess strong leadership skills and can execute a global vision for the Deal Desk organization, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives and revenue strategy. Your experience in facilitating predictable and commercially sound deal execution across various regions and segments is invaluable. You understand the importance of risk mitigation and are adept at advising on commercial policies that support the organization’s goals.

Desirable

Experience in a rapidly scaling SaaS business exceeding $450M in ARR is a plus. You have a knack for fostering collaboration among diverse teams and can effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels. Your strategic mindset is complemented by your operational expertise, allowing you to implement effective solutions that drive business success.

What you'll do

As the Interim Global Head of Deal Desk, you will lead the evolution of the Deal Desk function, ensuring it meets the needs of a rapidly scaling organization. You will be responsible for executing the global vision for the Deal Desk, aligning it with the company’s growth objectives and revenue strategy. Your role will involve advising on deal structures, commercial policies, and risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that all deals are executed efficiently and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, Systems, and Partner Marketplace teams to drive alignment on deal execution. Your leadership will be critical in facilitating frameworks and processes that enable predictable and commercially sound deal execution across all regions and segments. You will also be tasked with scaling the Deal Desk function to meet the demands of a growing organization, ensuring that it remains agile and responsive to market changes.

In this role, you will leverage your strategic vision to guide the Deal Desk team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. You will be expected to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, helping to shape the future direction of the organization’s deal-making processes. Your ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving will be essential as you navigate the complexities of a high-growth SaaS environment.
