Business Systems Analyst L5 - Workday Financials

The Team and Role:

The Netflix Fintech Engineering Team manages and delivers solutions for the constantly evolving needs of our Regional Controllership and Global Tax teams. Our team is seeking an excellent Functional Lead to help us solutionize and work in a rapid development environment with multiple internal business stakeholders and to meet external regulatory requirements.  This position will be based on US Remote supporting the full UCAN region and work on UCAN & Global projects reporting to the Manager of Fintech Engineering. 

What You Will do

As a BSA you will be

• Responsible for designing, developing and delivering (including post launch support) scalable solutions to support our Regional Controllership and Tax teams regionally and globally. 

• Planning, prioritizing and managing projects/enhancements on the roadmap ensuring successful end user experience

• Working closely with internal business stakeholders from Tax teams & Regional Controllership teams  to understand the use cases and build end-to-end solutions. 

• Leveraging business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements

• Forging strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various finance and engineering teams to successfully engage, understand, and translate business needs into system requirements. 

What you possess:

• Extensive working experience in Workday and its suite of products including but not limited to report writing (Advanced/Matrix/Composite), configuration,setups, understanding and translating requirements to build integrations, solutioning using Worksheets, building solutions using Workday PRISM and building dashboards.

• Experience in working with engineers, product managers and product owners located globally, leveraging your communication skills.

• Solid understanding of tax requirements and understanding financial reporting 

• Experience in building and supporting custom solutions.

• Experience in understanding integrations with various tax and finance systems.

• Strong project management skills to take ownership of projects and drive them from inception to completion

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage time effectively in order to thrive in a fast paced work environment while being detail oriented and decisive.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, technical solution architects, engineers and stakeholders on projects.

• Clear and concise communication skills to disseminate information about your work, design, and tradeoff decisions, both in writing and verbally.

• Demonstrable commitment and achievement skills to exceed expectations and serve multiple partners while delivering an outstanding experience.

Bonus:

• Experience in building reports using Tableau dashboards will be an added advantage.

• Experience in understanding workflows using Alteryx will be an added advantage.

• Experience in building reports for management using Workiva will be considered as an advantage.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100K - $700K.
