Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong background in managing large-scale distributed systems. Your problem-solving skills are exceptional, and you thrive in environments where you can innovate and push the boundaries of technology. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and have a knack for translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights. Your expertise in SQL and Linux allows you to gather and analyze metrics effectively, ensuring optimal system performance. You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and have experience with containerization technologies like Docker. You understand the importance of monitoring system health and are proactive in identifying potential issues before they escalate.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices would be a plus. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in software development can also be beneficial, as it allows you to build and improve the tools that support our infrastructure.
