Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in quality assurance engineering, with experience in embedding quality into design and production processes. You understand the importance of influencing how products are built from the start rather than just inspecting at the end. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams, ensuring that quality is a priority at every stage of development.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, which enable you to identify potential issues early in the process. Your ability to communicate effectively across teams ensures that everyone is aligned on quality standards and practices. You thrive in an environment where autonomy and ownership are encouraged, and you are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

Desirable

Experience in aerospace or a related field is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards and regulations. You may also have a background in engineering disciplines that complement your quality assurance expertise, allowing you to bring a holistic approach to the role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Build Quality Engineer at Relativity, you will play a crucial role in the development of the Terran R rocket. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that quality is embedded in every aspect of the design and production process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to influence how products are built, ensuring that quality standards are met from the outset.

You will participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations to enhance product quality. Your role will involve developing and implementing quality assurance processes that align with the company's goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with product quality, ensuring that any potential issues are addressed proactively.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will engage with various teams throughout the organization. You will help foster a culture of quality, encouraging team members to prioritize quality in their work. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R project, as you help shape the processes that lead to high-quality outcomes.

What we offer

At Relativity, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to innovation and excellence. We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $154,000 USD, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work on groundbreaking projects that are shaping the future of aerospace technology. Join us and make a meaningful impact in an exciting and rapidly evolving industry.
