Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of User Acquisition to lead and scale our global user acquisition efforts. This role will play a critical part in driving the growth of our user base by owning the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition channels. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing large-scale acquisition campaigns,through various channels (online and preferably also offline), leveraging data for insights, and building high-performing teams. The Head of User Acquisition will be reporting to Lumens’ VP Marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and Lead Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive user acquisition strategy across multiple channels to drive sustainable growth.
  • Own KPIs: Manage and optimize performance metrics, including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and retention rates, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Channel Ownership: Oversee multi-channel acquisition efforts, including paid media (Google, Meta, TikTok, programmatic), organic acquisition, partnerships, influencer marketing, and offline channels (TV, radio etc.).
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing user acquisition team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Allocate and manage acquisition budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, data, science, creative, and other internal and external marketing teams to ensure cohesive growth efforts.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data and analytics tools to gain insights into user behavior and acquisition trends, making informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or user acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role - a must.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets and delivering scalable results.
  • Deep expertise in managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok, programmatic, and other platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Looker, or SQL - an advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills - a must.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
