Who you are

You are a motivated student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field. As a penultimate year student, you have a strong foundation in software development and a keen interest in technology. You possess knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, Rust, and C, and are familiar with Unix systems. Your exceptional problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively, and you communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.

Desirable

While not required, any additional experience with algorithmic trading or financial technology would be a plus. You are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can share ideas and insights with your peers.

What you'll do

As an Intern Software Developer at Squarepoint Capital, you will participate in a comprehensive training program designed to introduce you to the technical aspects of software development within the algorithmic trading industry. You will work closely with experienced engineers on independent programming projects, utilizing your skills in Python or C++. Your contributions will directly support the development of custom software solutions that address complex problems in investment management.
