Overview

Databricks is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales to lead a team focused on new business in France. You'll be responsible for achieving sales quotas and driving customer value through data and AI solutions. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly in the technology sector, with at least 5 years of experience leading sales teams. You understand the complexities of the data and AI landscape and are passionate about helping customers solve their toughest business challenges. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you excel at coaching and developing your team to achieve their goals. You are results-driven and have a strong desire to drive value for customers, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds sales quotas.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of Databricks' solutions to potential clients. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can partner with various departments to manage the complete revenue and customer success process. Your strategic mindset enables you to establish company territory plans and individual quotas that align with overall business objectives.

Desirable

Experience in the EMEA region is a plus, as is familiarity with the competitive landscape of data and AI solutions. You may have a background in technology sales or have worked with enterprise-level clients, giving you insights into their unique needs and challenges. A strong network within the industry can also be beneficial as you seek to expand Databricks' presence in France.

What you'll do

As the Director of Enterprise Sales, you will lead a team of Hunter Enterprise Named and Strategic Account Executives, focusing on new business development. You will be responsible for implementing sales plans that drive growth and ensure accurate sales forecasting and reporting. Your leadership will inspire a culture of excellence within your team, encouraging them to go the extra mile in their efforts to build a robust data ecosystem in France.

You will oversee the establishment of company territory plans, team structure, and individual quotas, ensuring that your team has the resources and support they need to succeed. Regular reporting on revenue forecasts and strategic go-to-market programs will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you manage the complete revenue and customer success process. You will partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure that the solutions offered meet client needs and drive satisfaction. Your ability to inspire and motivate your team will be crucial in achieving significant year-on-year growth in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
