Nuro is seeking a Chief of Staff for their Vehicle Platform & Hardware team to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence. You'll work closely with engineering and business operations to ensure alignment and execution on key projects. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.
You have a strong background in operations and strategy, ideally with experience in advanced engineering or manufacturing environments. Your ability to navigate complex technical details while maintaining a strategic perspective sets you apart. You excel in fostering collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned towards common goals. You are a proactive problem solver, adept at identifying and unblocking obstacles that may hinder progress. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You understand the importance of creating an inclusive environment that promotes psychological safety for all employees.
Experience in the automotive or self-driving technology sectors would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is also beneficial, as is a background in product commercialization strategies.
In this role, you will partner closely with the VP of Vehicle Platform & Hardware to drive the strategic direction of the team. You will oversee the execution of technical roadmaps, ensuring that projects are on track and aligned with Nuro's commercialization strategy. Your responsibilities will include tracking progress on long-pole items and facilitating communication across various teams to ensure that engineering, manufacturing, and business operations are working in harmony. You will be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement and implementing processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Additionally, you will play a key role in stakeholder management, ensuring that both internal and external parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
