Opportunity Summary:
Ema is building the next generation AI technology to empower every employee in the enterprise to be their most creative and productive. Our proprietary tech allows enterprises to delegate most repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI employee. We are founded by ex-Google, Coinbase, Okta executives, and serial entrepreneurs. We’re well-funded by the top investors and angels in the world. Ema is based in Silicon Valley with offices in Bangalore. This will be a hybrid role where we expect employees to work from office three days a week.
In this role, you will:
Develop test strategies, build test frameworks and test plans (e.g., web-app level, services integration level, system level) to help the entire engineering team be more productive
Build testing frameworks for system and integration testing to make testing high quality and high velocity
Build testing framework for improving unit test quality and velocity for Python and Go.
Integrate automated tests CI/CD infrastructure to run tests periodically.
Develop stress testing framework using Postman, Selenium and other integration testing tools
Manage data analysis, triaging failures, and collaborate with the stakeholders to debug
Ideally, you'd have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years experience as a Test / QA Engineer.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in test framework design. We will expect you to own testing strategy and implementation.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Pytest,, or TestNG.
Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
Expert in test automation integration with CI/CD.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with global teams.
