Hematologist Oncologist - Astera Cancer Care

Who you are

You are an experienced physician or fellow with a strong background in hematology and oncology. You are board certified or board eligible and hold an MD or DO degree. You have a special interest in GU oncology, particularly in treating prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. You are looking for a full-time opportunity in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a diverse mix of solid tumor and hematologic cases primarily in an outpatient setting, with limited inpatient responsibilities focused on consults. You will collaborate with specialists including urologists, radiation oncologists, breast surgeons, and palliative care experts to provide comprehensive care to your patients. You will be responsible for developing treatment plans, conducting patient consultations, and participating in clinical trials as part of OneOncology's network. You will also engage in administrative duties one day a week, balancing your clinical responsibilities with the operational aspects of the practice.
