Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners. Your background includes proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python or Java, which you have used for data processing, customizing search functionality, and scripting automation tasks. You have experience integrating platforms into customer systems using APIs and SDKs, and you have worked in a cloud solution developer role or similar, focusing on systems design and architecting application integrations.

You are familiar with Google Cloud and have built scalable streaming and batch data pipelines using tools like Dataflow, Workflows, and BigQuery. Your understanding of search-engine principles, including ranking, indexing, and tokenization, is complemented by your application of machine learning techniques to enhance ranking, query understanding, and recommendations. You have experience designing and building Agentic AI systems and applications, and you are knowledgeable in statistical concepts for setting up and interpreting A/B tests, as well as traffic analysis and relevant KPIs to measure solution success.

Your organizational and investigative skills are excellent, allowing you to influence and work effectively with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy leading cross-functional teams to leverage emerging technologies for external clients and partners.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms or programming languages is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced data analytics tools. You may also have a background in user experience design or product management, which would enhance your ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.

What you'll do

As a Technical Solutions Consultant at Google, you will be responsible for managing the technical relationship with our largest advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients and partners. Your role will involve concept design and testing, data analysis, and developing scalable solutions for customers. This includes developing data ingestion and ETL pipelines, building backend integration services, and creating solutions for unique customer use cases.

You will recommend and document migration paths and integration strategies, ensuring that application developers can successfully implement complete search solutions using best practices on Google Cloud. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues will be critical in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring the success of implemented solutions.
