Rubrik is hiring a Sales Engineer, Cloud Product Line Specialist to provide technical direction and business guidance to the sales team. You'll work with AWS, Azure, and GCP to position Rubrik's Cloud capabilities to customers in the Western USA.
You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with experience in cloud solutions — you understand the nuances of cloud licensing and can effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and are driven to exceed sales quotas through innovative technical programs and customer engagement.
You possess deep knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP — you can serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers, helping them navigate their cloud strategies and understand how Rubrik's solutions can enhance their data resilience. Your ability to analyze customer feedback and identify trends will be crucial in shaping the sales approach.
You are skilled in leading technical sales calls and conducting customer demonstrations — you can effectively showcase Rubrik's Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools, ensuring that potential clients see the value in the solutions offered. Your experience in managing day-to-day account-level activities will help you build strong relationships with clients.
Experience in cybersecurity or data protection solutions would be a plus — you understand the challenges organizations face in protecting their data against cyber threats and can articulate how Rubrik addresses these challenges. Familiarity with sales enablement programs and a track record of successful pipeline generation alongside Account Executives will set you apart.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik's sales team, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to effectively position cloud licensing solutions to customers. You will lead technical sales calls, gather and analyze customer feedback, and identify trends that can inform sales strategies. Your expertise will be essential in qualifying sales opportunities and driving innovative technical programs that resonate with clients.
You will be responsible for evangelizing Rubrik's cloud capabilities, positioning them as essential tools for data resilience and operational continuity. This involves conducting customer demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs) that highlight the effectiveness of Rubrik's solutions in real-world scenarios. You will work closely with the regional sales team to drive pipeline generation and exceed sales quotas.
Your role will also involve overseeing day-to-day account-level activities, ensuring that customer needs are met and that they receive the highest level of service. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and sales strategies, helping to shape the future of Rubrik's offerings.
