Overview

Esri is hiring a Senior Business Analyst - Payroll to prioritize work requests for the HRIS and Payroll teams. You'll collaborate with various HR teams and enhance business processes using Dayforce and Electronic Timecard systems. This role requires 5+ years of payroll processing experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with at least 2 years dedicated to HCM and Payroll system configuration. Your background includes end-to-end implementation of a major HCM or Payroll SaaS solution, showcasing your ability to navigate complex systems and processes. You thrive in a corporate environment, promoting collaboration and efficiency across teams. Your strong communication skills enable you to establish and maintain business partnerships across Payroll, HR, IT, and other business units, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.

You are adept at gathering and documenting requirements for configuration changes and enhancements in systems like Dayforce and Electronic Timecard. Your experience with prioritizing work requests through platforms like ServiceNow demonstrates your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. You are committed to improving data quality for reporting and informational uses, and you stay updated on system changes to ensure seamless implementation across departments.

Desirable

Experience with training and managing teams is a plus, as you will coordinate efforts to meet established objectives. Familiarity with generating reports for stakeholders will enhance your ability to communicate progress and outcomes effectively. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for process improvement and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for prioritizing all work requests submitted to the HRIS and Payroll teams. You will coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, and other HR teams to understand their requests and enhance business processes. Your primary focus will be on gathering and documenting requirements for configuration changes in Dayforce and Electronic Timecard systems, ensuring that all enhancements align with business needs.

You will manage the workflow of requests through ServiceNow, generating reports for stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and outcomes. Collaborating with the wider HRIS team and the Dayforce CRE and Support team will be essential for driving HR and Payroll-related initiatives forward. You will also manage the upgrade efforts for Dayforce and Electronic Timecard systems, ensuring that all changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.

Your role will involve establishing strong business partnerships across various departments, including Payroll, HR, and IT. You will work closely with the HRIS team to document configuration changes and maintain a history of changes and procedures. Staying up to date on system changes initiated by Dayforce will be crucial for your success in this position, as you will liaise with applicable business units for implementation.
