Welocalize is seeking a Life Sciences & Marketing Brazilian Portuguese Linguist to manage translation and copy-editing activities. This role focuses on delivering high-quality linguistic outputs across various domains, particularly in Life Sciences and Marketing.
You have a strong background in linguistics and translation, particularly in the Life Sciences and Marketing sectors. Your experience includes managing translation projects and ensuring high-quality outputs in Brazilian Portuguese. You possess excellent copy-editing skills and are comfortable working with various content types across multiple domains. You are detail-oriented and have the ability to interpret complex instructions in various formats. Your communication skills allow you to interact positively with clients and team members at all levels. You are also willing to train and mentor others, sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues.
In this role, you will manage translation and copy-editing activities, ensuring that all Brazilian Portuguese linguistic outputs meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers and other linguists to deliver content across different domains, with a primary focus on Life Sciences and Marketing. You will be responsible for reviewing and editing translations, providing feedback to other linguists, and ensuring consistency in terminology and style. You will also contribute to projects in Technology, Manufacturing, and Entertainment, adapting your skills to meet the specific needs of each project. Your role will involve collaborating with a virtual team, utilizing your strong communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork.
