Overview

You have 5+ years of experience in hardware development engineering, particularly in failure analysis and reliability testing. Your background includes working with PCBAs and understanding the intricacies of hardware design and manufacturing processes. You are skilled in utilizing design schematics and test equipment to diagnose hardware failures and implement corrective actions effectively. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and supply chain engineers, to enhance product robustness and longevity.

You possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and have experience with embedded systems. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify root causes of failures and propose innovative solutions. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for working on cutting-edge technology that supports national security efforts. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to projects that have a significant impact on the future of space exploration.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Hardware Development Engineer for Starshield, you will be responsible for performing detailed failure analysis of satellite hardware. Your role will involve collaborating with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product reliability and performance. You will analyze hardware failures to enhance the robustness and longevity of PCBAs, ensuring that our satellites meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
