What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer on the Reporting team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that power HockeyStack's reporting infrastructure. You will work with large datasets to ensure that our applications deliver fast, reliable, and accurate insights to our customers. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems and implementing new features that enhance the user experience.

You will collaborate with data scientists to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. This will involve designing and implementing data pipelines that efficiently process and store information, ensuring that our applications can scale as we grow. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise, ensuring that our services remain operational and performant.

In addition to coding, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our systems. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills.
