Point72 is hiring a Workday HCM & Payroll Lead to define strategy and manage operational capabilities for HCM and Payroll features. You'll provide expert-level support for Workday Payroll and ensure compliance with organizational policies. This role requires experience with Workday and strong leadership skills.
You have a strong background in managing payroll systems and have experience with Workday, particularly in Payroll and HCM functionalities. You understand the intricacies of compensation, benefits, absence management, and time tracking, and you are adept at ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with Human Resources and Payroll teams to enhance user experience and operational capabilities.
You are a strategic thinker who can define roadmaps for HCM and Payroll features, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time. You have a proven track record of managing support requests and addressing user access and security maintenance issues. Your experience includes executing system configuration changes and participating in Agile sprint development, demonstrating your ability to adapt to evolving technology landscapes.
Experience in a financial services environment is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise agile methodologies. You are committed to professional development and are eager to bring innovative ideas to your role, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
In this role, you will define the strategy and roadmap for HCM and Payroll features, leading the partnership between Technology and the Human Resources and Payroll teams. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing operational capabilities, defining best practices, and enhancing the end-user experience.
You will serve as the primary business application support partner for the Payroll and HR teams, addressing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support requests, including user access and security maintenance, EIB loads, custom reports, and dashboards. You will provide expert-level support for Workday Payroll and Security configurations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you will execute ongoing system configuration changes, including business processes, foundational data, and security model updates. You will actively participate in bi-weekly Agile sprint development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the payroll and HCM systems.
