Microsoft is seeking a Senior Windows Internals Developer to join a startup spirit team focused on building a revolutionary security product. You'll work with C/C++/Rust and Windows Internals to create high-impact solutions. This role requires 8+ years of software development experience.
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent education. With over 8 years of professional software development experience, you have primarily worked with C/C++/Rust or any statically typed language. Your background includes developing applications and services in edge device environments, and you possess knowledge in OS internals. You have working experience in Windows Internals, which is crucial for this role. Additionally, you have experience in the cybersecurity domain, with offensive security being a bonus. You are proactive and capable of mapping product and feature requirements, dependencies, and deliverables autonomously, navigating through ambiguity with ease.
In this role, you will be part of a disruptive security solution within a product group that is being built from scratch. You will take on a broad cross-team and cross-discipline role, working on a product that has high visibility and impact. Your responsibilities will include creating end-to-end designs and implementing services and features while adhering to industry best practices and high security standards. You will autonomously lead the definition of requirements, KPIs, priorities, and planning of engineering deliverables, ensuring that the product meets the needs of modern organizations struggling to protect sensitive data while remaining productive and cost-effective.
