Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to enhance the shopping experience for automotive products on Amazon Japan. The role's primary responsibilities include renovating the fitment mechanism of Amazon Garage and Automotive Part Finder. These features are essential in helping customers accurately identify and purchase parts compatible with their specific vehicles, and is a key to accelerate the Automotive business in Japan.

This position will be mainly working with diverse and fast growing business teams in Amazon, such as Retail team in JP/US/EU, technical teams in IN/US and other Product Line PM teams. It also requires strategic partnerships with external data providers to drive industry-wide innovation.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and drive strategic project to rennovate fitment mechanism for Automotive business in Japan.
- Define product requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for Amazon Garage and Automotive Part Finder.
- Find solutions to automate process that are inefficient, by collaborating with various technical team.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, business performance and features.
- Design a methodology to visualize and track the impact, to ensure the solution is providing the expected result with highest standard.
- Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by developing business cases and writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.
- Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders.

- 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology
- Proven track record in owning/driving roadmap strategy and end-to-end product delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
