Five9 is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead the design and demo of cloud and AI-powered contact center solutions for large enterprise clients. You'll work closely with sales and product teams, requiring strong presentation skills and hands-on knowledge of CRM integration and AI tools.
You have over 5 years of experience in pre-sales or solution consulting for SaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise software — you've successfully partnered with sales teams to uncover customer goals and build tailored solutions that meet their needs. Your strong presentation and communication skills allow you to engage effectively with C-suite executives, ensuring that you can convey complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
Your hands-on knowledge of CRM integration, IVR, APIs, and AI tools — including AI agents, chatbots, and generative AI — enables you to design scalable architectures that drive customer engagement. You possess technical fluency in telco/SIP and enterprise architecture, which allows you to guide customers through their digital transformation journeys.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, marketing, and professional services teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and aligned messaging. Your willingness to stay current on AI, automation, and contact center trends positions you as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them innovate and improve their customer experience.
Experience with large enterprise clients is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest trends in customer engagement technology. You are adaptable and open to learning new tools and methodologies that can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
In this role, you will lead discovery sessions with clients to translate their business needs into actionable solutions. You will deliver persuasive demos and executive-level presentations that showcase the capabilities of Five9’s cloud and AI-powered contact center solutions. Your ability to shape RFP/RFI responses with clear technical scope and integration plans will be crucial in winning new business.
You will collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team to uncover customer goals and build tailored Five9 solutions that meet their specific needs. Your insights into AI and automation will guide customer innovation, ensuring that they are leveraging the latest technologies to enhance their customer engagement strategies.
As part of the Enterprise Solutions team, you will stay current on industry trends and best practices, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and clients alike. Your role will involve a significant amount of travel, up to 50%, to meet with clients and present solutions in person.
