Overview

Samsara is seeking a Core Enterprise Account Executive to help enterprise-sized customers digitize workflows and unlock data insights. This remote role requires strong sales skills and experience in managing complex negotiations.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, where you've successfully managed large accounts and complex negotiations. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions is key to your success. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results. You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform industries, particularly in the realm of physical operations.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Your experience in managing trials and proof of concepts (POCs) has equipped you with the skills to navigate multiple stakeholders and ensure successful outcomes. You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.

Desirable

Experience in industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation is a plus, as it will help you relate to the challenges faced by our customers. Familiarity with IoT technologies and data-driven decision-making will enhance your ability to provide valuable insights to clients. A background in consultative selling will also be beneficial, as you will be expected to guide customers through their digital transformation journeys.

What you'll do

As a Core Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving sales within our largest and most strategic enterprise accounts. You will work closely with customers to understand their current technologies and workflows, identifying opportunities for digitization and improvement. Your role will involve managing the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, with typical sales ranging from $100k to $500k.

You will conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. Your ability to manage trials and POCs will be crucial in showcasing the effectiveness of our solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams, including product and engineering, to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into our offerings.

In addition to driving sales, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within your accounts. Your expertise in negotiation will be essential as you navigate complex pricing discussions and contract terms. You will also be expected to provide ongoing support and guidance to customers post-sale, ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes with our products.
