Who you are

You are currently pursuing a degree in computer science, robotics, or a related field, and you have a strong interest in building intelligent robotic systems that operate in real-world environments. You are excited about applying cutting-edge research to develop robust, production-ready autonomy software. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with a small engineering team to tackle complex challenges. You have a foundational understanding of programming languages, particularly Python, and are eager to learn and apply new technologies in the field of robotics and AI. You are motivated to bridge the gap between research and production, leveraging open-source models and the latest advances in robotics to improve real-world robotic performance.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineering Intern at Cobot, you will contribute to the development of our on-robot autonomy stack, focusing on multi-robot control and coordination. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain software that powers our robots in customer environments. Your responsibilities will include writing and testing code, collaborating on software design, and participating in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges. You will have the opportunity to leverage open-source models and the latest research papers to enhance the capabilities of our robots operating in customer sites. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the robotics industry, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting and gain valuable insights into the development of autonomous systems.
