Amazon is hiring a Hardware Engineer to build the backbone of Generative AI cloud at AWS. You'll work on designing and delivering cloud offerings for AI training and inference. This position requires knowledge of the full technical stack and experience with AWS.
You have a strong background in hardware engineering, with a focus on designing server architectures that support high-performance AI and machine learning workloads. Your experience includes working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and you are familiar with the intricacies of AI model training and inference. You are an innovative thinker who enjoys solving complex technology problems and are eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge cloud services. You have a deep understanding of the full technical stack, from bare-metal server hardware to userland software, and you are curious about how systems and software decisions impact user experiences. You are committed to maintaining high standards in your work and are skilled at developing tools and solutions to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
Experience with generative AI technologies and large language models is a plus. Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and a passion for continuous improvement in cloud services will set you apart.
