Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI/ML and Computer Vision to design and implement cutting-edge technologies. You'll work with Python and C++ to develop innovative solutions in a collaborative environment. This role requires 5+ years of experience in software engineering and expertise in computer vision and machine learning.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience programming in Python and C++. Your background includes 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and at least 1 year focused on software design and architecture. You possess 3 years of experience in Computer Vision, including image classification, object detection, and visual search, as well as experience designing Computer Vision systems. Additionally, you have 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, covering model deployment, evaluation, optimization, and debugging. You are also familiar with data structures and algorithms, having spent 5 years honing these skills. If you have a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, that would be a plus. You may have also held a technical leadership role for at least a year and have experience developing accessible technologies.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Google, you will work on projects critical to the company's needs, leveraging your expertise in AI and machine learning. You will design and implement computer vision systems, evaluate trade-offs between different algorithms and design techniques, and contribute to the development of next-generation technologies that impact billions of users.
