Neuralink is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to optimize procurement processes and manage supplier relationships. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure efficient access to critical materials and services. This role requires strong strategic and execution skills in supply chain management.
You have a strong background in supply chain management and procurement, with experience in driving cost savings and operational efficiency. You thrive in environments where you can balance high-level strategy with daily execution, ensuring that procurement processes align with organizational goals. Your ability to manage supplier relationships and lead negotiations is complemented by your collaborative spirit, as you work with cross-functional teams to address procurement needs effectively.
You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage contracts and execute purchases across a broad range of categories. Your experience includes working with direct materials, capital equipment, and general procurement needs, making you well-equipped to handle the complexities of supply chain challenges. You are passionate about contributing to technological advancements that have a meaningful impact on individuals with unmet medical needs.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly in the tech or medical device sectors, is a plus. Familiarity with contract management software and procurement tools will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A background in collaborating with engineering, legal, finance, and clinical teams will be beneficial as you navigate the multifaceted nature of procurement at Neuralink.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless access to critical materials and services that support Neuralink's mission. You will drive innovation at every stage of the supply chain, anticipating challenges and proactively solving them to help teams work more efficiently. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, leading negotiations, and executing purchases across various categories, including hardware components and manufacturing supplies.
You will collaborate with multidimensional teams, including Engineering, Legal, Finance, Preclinical, Clinical, and Operations, to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives. Your role will require you to contribute to the overall procurement efforts, ensuring that all materials and services are sourced effectively and efficiently. You will also be involved in managing contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Your ability to analyze procurement data and market trends will help you identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. You will play a key role in driving supplier performance and ensuring that procurement activities align with Neuralink's mission to restore autonomy to individuals with unmet medical needs.
